A film collection is a detailed collection of stills from a particular anime and usually includes all the original script alongside of their respective film shots.
The Vampire Princess Miyu Film Collection consists of two hard-cover books detailing all four OAV (Original Animated Version) episodes. The first of these two include episodes one: ?ewitched Cityˇand two: ?arty of Marionettesˇin full colour, with complete dialogue. It also includes main character designs in colour, four poster-type illustrations by various artists and three complete illustrations by the original artist. A brief interview with the director and the original artist are presented at the end of the book.
The anime Vampire Princess Miyu is based on the manga of the same name by renowned artist Narumi Kakinouchi and is directed by Toshihiko Hirano. The manga comprises of five volumes, and the story is continued in the New Vampire Princess Miyu manga series, drawn by Kakinouchi and directed by Toshiki Hirano. The New Vampire Princess series is currently in its sixth volume and is published monthly in Susperia. Other works by Kakinouchi include: Vampire Yui, Vampire Dahlia, the Wanderer, Code Name wa Charmer, and more.
