Our refund / exchange policies


Online Store:

Items that are eligible for return or refund

If you find any product you purchase from SakuraMedia.com to be defective, you may request for an exchange or return. Reasons such as "I don't like this series", "it is a gift for my friend but he/she already has it", or "the product is not as good as I thought" are NOT ACCEPTED for return or exchange. In addition, some conditions are applied on video products. Please read " A note on our video products" for more information.

All returns will be issued in store credits only.


When and where?

All returns must be done within 7 days of when you receive your order. Please have your defective item packaged and sent to the following address:

What about shipping cost?

If after examination the item you return is found to be defective, we will cover all shipping cost of this return and/or this exchange. Store credit or cheque with the postage fee value will be assigned to you. An exchanged item will be sent using UPS Express service.

However, if after examination the item is not found to be defective, we will return that item back to you but we will not cover the shipping cost.


Price Protection?

Customers may request for store credits within 7 days of purchase (NOT apply for final sale item) if found out a lower offering from Sakura Media for the EXACT same item which is not on combined sale with any other item(s).



Retail Stores:

Returns / Exchange & Price Protection Policies

1. All returns will be issued in store credits only.

2. Items may be returned/exchanged (must be returned in original condition, including packaging and labels, and a valid receipt) for store credits only within 7 days of purchase. In the case where the new product's value is different than that of the returned product, the difference will be paid for by the customer / store. Store credits only if the new item(s) amount is for less.

3.If the product is defective, the customer may receive an exchange for the same product if done within 7 days of purchase. In the case where the product is no longer in stock, cash/credit card/debit refund will be made. ---An exchanged item, the new item is consider as FINAL SALE, and it cannot be exchanged again for any reasons, other than defects.

4.ALL on-sale items are FINAL SALE. There is NO REFUND/EXCHANGE for any FINAL SALE items unless the item is defective.

5.Customers may request for store credits within 7 days of purchase (NOT apply for final sale item) if found out a lower offering from Sakura Media for the EXACT same item which is not on combined sale with any other item.

6.All the procedures must be made in the same store you purchased your item(s).

7.Sakura Media retains full discretion on granting full or partial refunds, exchanges, or in-store credits.
